Newsletter 5
Dear CM User,
With the World Cup having just begun we thought it a good time to bring you
our next newsletter.
Work on Championship Manager 3 is progressing very well, with the release
likely to be late this year. We will be attempting to keep up to speed
during the next month although a lot of the time may have to be devoted to
research into international football!
The following work has been completed or is in progress on CM3:
All competitions of all the leagues have now been implemented
The transfer market system is in its final stages
Player contracts with negotiable clauses is in progress
Realistic match attendances
All in-match screens have been implemented
Team and Player tactical instructions are being integrated into the mach
engine
Another screen shot is available for you all to see at our website, this
will show you one of the in-match screens and a completely new feature for
a CM game. We reckon you'll like it.

We would like to announce and welcome a new member to the CM Team. Paul
Taylor, a big CM fan, has just graduated from Uni with a degree in software
engineering. He will help speed the release of CM along and will add a new
dimension to the team. His only apparent downside so far is that he=92s a
Southampton fan!
We are very pleased with the positive response to the Official Fan Club
Website for CM (http://www.techcities.co.uk). As far as we are concerned it
has been a great success and addition to the world of CM and will continue
supporting it! Containing a huge archive of pictures you can use in the
game plus lots of unofficial add on's, utilities, stories, tactics and
discussion forums - we feel it simply enhances your overall enjoyment.
The recent competition set up by the fan club which involved coming up with
sequences of commentary for the CM3 match engine was a great success We are
currently sifting through the entries and including many of the great
snippets of commentary into the CM3 match engine. We will announce the
winners soon. Thanks to all those who entered.
Techcities success is reliant on CM fans feedback, your constructive
comments (both good and bad) can make a difference and can only ensure that
the website gets better and better. As a result a new feedback e-mail
address has been set up to serve this purpose - feedback@techcities.co.uk
We would like to thank you for your continued support and your interest in
what we are doing.
Finally, we would like to wish you all an enjoyable World Cup!
