Championship Manager 2 Enhanced (as it was called originally) added new features and many leagues to the one game of Championship Manager. It may of been bugged but it was still excellent and greatly improved on the other CMs. However, it was a lot slower in the calculating of scores and using 3 leagues at once you were waiting there for ages :-(

According to the Techcities homepage Championship Manager Enhanced (97/98) was the best selling game in the UK of 1997. Selling over 200,000 copies in the UK alone. If only football was big in America. Then it might be the biggest selling P.C. game for Eidos. Ah well , Tombraider is a great game NOT!.

CM2 97/98 got rid of the commentary of Clive Tyldesley, but it was crap. So maybe it's better without it. They should of included some background sounds from the crowd. Such as cheers, chants and boos.

This game will keep you occupied for most of your life, if you start playing it , until CM3 comes out. It is a near perfect game but the bugs bring down its score. Read the reviews at Eidos homepage to know what games magazines think of Championship Manager Enhanced 97/98
